I will offer a safe place where you can pause and take a break from the day to day tasks and disruptions. In this place your body can come to stillness, your mind's list of to-do's can ease, and you can turn towards your inner world which yearns to be heard.
"Stand still. The trees ahead and the bushes beside you are not lost. Wherever you are is called Here and you must treat it as a powerful stranger." David Wagoner
As a trained sacred witness I will be here to actively, kindly and with curiosity listen to what you want to share. I will respond with mirroring, observations, and contemplative questions; helping you explore and engage.
"I only know that despite or because of all that gets in the way, I am returned to a stillness that waits under everything. At the bottom of every hope and regret, a place under all fear that is not afraid, a place under all pain that is not hurting. A place we can settle into like the arms of a loved one who only mutters, “I know I know.” Mark Nepo
I believe and trust that your soul knows the way! Your soul; who comes from Love and is connected to Loving Presence holds within the wellspring of wisdom and knowing. I am here to guide you to this sacred place with invitations and spiritual contemplative practices .
"Do not run, but be quiet and listen. Listen attentively to your own struggle. The answer to your question is hidden in your own heart." Henri Nouwen

I grew up dearly loved by my parents as a missionary kid and later a pastor's kid within the evangelical church community and held dearly to this identity and religious faith into my first marriage and early motherhood.
I graduated with a 4 year Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Biblical studies and started a family soon after. In my 30's I experienced a period of deep faith and identity crisis. This led to significant loss and transition in my marital life and faith journey, leading to many years of grief, turmoil, confusion, longing, and exploration. I found Soul Care® circles online and signed up immediately. I had a deep yearning in my heart for belonging; to be a part of a community where I could safely explore my unique and authentic spiritual journey, to wrestle openly, to deepen and grow. As I turned towards my soul and opened to grounding in the mystery that holds us all, I was remembered in to a loving kindness that is safe, accepting, tender and Oneness who calls me to become all of who I am in my fullness.
I also returned to myself; learning more about who and why I am as I am and turning towards all of who I am with a tender, curious, non-judgmental love. It felt like home; what I felt within me reminded me of how it felt to return as a child into the safe embrace and warmth of parental love.
When I finished three years of spiritual formation circles I was invited in to a two year spiritual direction training program. I entered this with excitement and also remember wondering to myself "Can I do this?" Each step of the way I chose to trust Love and to trust my soul; releasing self doubt and refusing the voices of accusation. I learned to trust Love's presence and my own abilities. It has been one of the richest experiences of my life.
I continue in my work as a spiritual companion under supervision and structured learning. I have committed to a life of tending to my own heart, soul and body through contemplative practices. These include regular times of pausing, opening and listening to my inner longings and experiences and to the eternal wellspring of love and wisdom within me. This also includes my monthly sessions with my own spiritual director. The simplicity of rest, release and listening amazes and nourishes me and also has become part of my daily moments. This is always a work in progress of course and I soon can sense when I have strayed too far from my own center and grounding.
As I sit with another in spiritual companionship, it is my intention to ensure I don't get in the way of their sacred journey. I tend to my own soul so that I can be present fully to the other's. It is a great joy and honour for me to companion others on their own soul journeys.

“The path to well-being is not about becoming something other than ourselves or about acquiring a spiritual knowledge that is essentially foreign to us. It is about waking up to a knowledge that is deep in the very fabric of our being and it is about living in relationship to this wisdom.” John Philip Newell from Sacred Earth Sacred Soul
